The inspiration to launch Terra Religare came to us from a letter written by a small boy into a popular outdoor magazine.  In the letter, the boy said that he lived near a lake and wanted suggestions on how he could get his parents to take him fishing.  His parents, as it turns out, have never fished and were either nervous or embarrassed to take the boy, because they had no experience in fishing.

Our goal was to offer a class that was non-judgemental, for families of any background that provides instruction for whatever outdoor activity you are interested in.
